Coprosma acerosa ‘Red Rocks’ is a showy, NZ native shrub that typically reaches 75 cm tall and 1 m wide. It carries fine, green foliage held on prominent, dark red-brown stems. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil conditions, except at the extremes of wet and dry, as well as coastal conditions, moderate frost, and wind. Coprosma ‘Red Rocks’ makes a stunning addition to any garden and is ideal for adding to a mixed planting, or using anywhere an interesting, architectural feature is desired.
