Coprosma propinqua, commonly known as Mingimingi or Mikimiki, is a hardy New Zealand native shrub characterised by its interlaced branches and small, green leaves. Growing up to 2.5 metres tall and 2 metres wide, it thrives in wetland areas, stream banks, and native gardens. Its dense growth provides excellent shelter for wildlife, and its berries attract birds, making it a valuable addition to ecological plantings.
