How to grow a Coprosma lucida hedge

To grow a Coprosma lucida hedge, the plants should be spaced 60 cm apart. If you desire a dense hedge faster, feel free to space them 40-50 cm apart. If you space them out to 1 m apart, the hedge will take longer to fill in and tend to a lot broader. Trimming should be undertaken during active growth in spring with just the sides trimmed so the plants continue to grow upwards. Most Coprosma lucida hedges are kept to about 1.5-2.5 m tall and with regular trimming they look amazing!
