How to grow a Coprosma lucida hedge

To grow a Coprosma lucida hedge, the plants should be spaced 60 cm apart. If you desire a dense hedge faster, feel free to space them 40-50 cm apart. If you space them out to 1 m apart, the hedge will take longer to fill in and tend to be a lot broader. Trimming should be undertaken during active growth in spring, with just the sides trimmed so the plants continue to grow upwards. Most Coprosma lucida hedges are kept to a height of about 1.5-2.5 m, and with regular trimming, they look amazing.
