Coleonema pulchellum, commonly known as the Pink Breath of Heaven plant, is a popular and colourful shrub. The mid-green foliage is fine with needle-like leaves that have an aromatic fragrance when crushed. Masses of small pink flowers are produced amidst the foliage during spring and summer as it grows to 1 m tall and 1.8 m wide. Coleonema pulchellum is a great plant for using as a ground cover, including in mixed plantings and borders, or planting near a walkway where its aromatic foliage can be appreciated.
