Clianthus puniceus Rosea is a NZ native shrub that produces stunning, beak like flowers through spring. The masses of large and showy, rose-coloured flowers literally transform the plant. The fine, mid-green foliage is soft in appearance and provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost and dry periods.
