Butterfly Bush
Clerodendrum ugandense, commonly known as the Blue Butterfly Bush, is an open, sprawling evergreen shrub favoured for its lovely masses of blue flowers. The flowers, with three pale blue petals and one violet blue petal, bloom from summer through autumn and resemble butterflies. Growing to 3 m tall and wide, it thrives in full sun or partial shade on well-drained, frost-protected sites. It’s also great for containers or conservatories.
