Cistus Violetti is a medium sized Rock Rose that carries papery, violet flowers with crinkled petals and a mass of golden stamens. The flowers don’t last long but are produced continuously from spring through summer above the silver-grey foliage. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, and extended dry periods. Cistus Violetti is often used for adding interest and texture to the garden. It is great for including in mixed borders or for, planting en masse as a single variety or with other Cistus varieties.
