Cistus Snowmound, commonly known as the White Rock Rose, and is grown for its hardy nature and pretty flowers. This evergreen shrub produces single, white flowers with a yellow centre. The flowers dont last long but are produced en masse from spring through summer and are contrasted nicely with the dark green foliage. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, and extended dry periods though should be protected while it is establishing. This White Rockrose is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in coastal or cottage gardens, or maintained in a container.
