“Brilliancy” is a variety of the commonly known, Rock Rose, and is grown for its hardy nature and pretty flowers. This evergreen shrub produces large and showy, single, dark pink flowers with burgundy spots. The flowers dont last long but are produced en masse from spring through summer and are complemented with narrow, dark green foliage. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, and extended dry periods though should be protected while it is establishing. “Brilliancy” is commonly included in a mixed planting, or used in coastal or cottage gardens.
