Cistus Bennetts White Details

Cistus Bennetts White, commonly known as White Rock Rose, and is grown for its hardy nature and pretty flowers. This evergreen shrub produces large and showy, single, white flowers with a yellow centre. The flowers dont last long but are produced en masse from spring through summer and are contrasted nicely with lush, dark green foliage. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide though can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, and extended dry periods though should be protected while it is establishing. Bennetts White Rockrose is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in coastal gardens, added to cottage gardens, or maintained in a container.
