Cistus Anne Palmer is a medium-sized rock rose that carries papery, silver-pink, crepe like flowers. The flowers don’t last long but are produced en masse during spring and summer. The flowers grace the dark green foliage which initially emerges a purple colour. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 1.2 m wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions and extended dry periods. Cistus Anne Palmer is often used for adding interest and texture to the garden. It is great for including in mixed borders or planting en masse as a single variety or with other Cistus varieties.
