How to grow Caryopteris 'Summer Sorbet' in NZ

Caryopteris 'Summer Sorbet' grows best in full sun with fertile, well drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then only during extended dry periods. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring and mulch to help retain soil moisture while suppressing weeds. Avoid planting in poorly drained sites.

Caryopteris 'Summer Sorbet' care tips

Prune the shrub back in late winter or early spring to encourage vigorous new growth and abundant flowering. Remove dead or damaged stems as required and avoid excessive watering once the plant is established. A light annual mulch will help keep the roots cool and healthy.
