In summer, clusters of small, pink-white flowers coat the plant. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. It is hardy to frost, coastal environments, and a range of soil conditions. Carmichaelia stevensonii is commonly used in mixed plantings or use as a backdrop for smaller plants.
