Carmichaelia glabrescens is an interesting shrub grown for its interesting foliage and colourful flowers. This pink broom plant grows as a spreading, evergreen shrub with dark green, flattened stems and inconspicuous leaves. Through summer the plant is transformed by clusters of small, mildly fragrant, pretty, pink flowers, and typically grows to 3 m tall and the same wide. Carmichaelia glabrescens is commonly used in mixed plantings, as a backdrop for smaller plants, or anywhere a hardy and interesting plant is required.
