Camellia japonica Sir Victor Davies is an evergreen shrub that produces formal, rose-red flowers. These double blooms appear from winter through spring and blend nicely with the glossy, green foliage. It is relatively compact plant with an upright growth habit and typically reaches 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide. Best performance is achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic. It is tolerant of cool and humid climates as well as moderate frost once established.
