How to grow the Callistemon Red Alert bottlebrush

To grow Callistemon Red Alert, plant it in a sunny position with well-drained soil, as it thrives best in full sun and tolerates a variety of soil types, including clay and sandy loam. Water regularly during the first growing season to help establish deep roots, then reduce watering as the plant becomes drought-tolerant. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds, keeping the mulch clear of the trunk. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a compact shape and encourage more blooms.
