Callicarpa bodinieri Profusion, commonly known as Beautyberry, is primarily included in the landscape for its showy autumn display of glossy, violet coloured fruit. It grows as a rounded, deciduous shrub to about 2 m tall and the same wide with upright, slender branches. Clusters of small, lavender flowers are borne along the stems in summer. Callicarpa bodinieri Profusion is commonly used for attracting birds, added to mixed plantings, included in cottage gardens, or planted for its unique beauty.
