Buxus harlandii 'Richard', commonly known as Little Boxwood, is a spectacular variety that grows to about 1 m tall and the same wide. It has charming, bright green leaves with a slight indentation at the tip that makes it easily identified. Buxus harlandii 'Richard' is often trimmed into a formal hedge, used for topiary, planted as a screen, grown as a backdrop for smaller plants, or included in a mixed planting. For a box hedge, space plants 30-40 cm apart.
