Brunia albiflora is a flowering shrub with unusual flowers. The flowers at the end of winter are tiny, silver-white and appear in tight, pompom-like heads. They certainly stand out. It grows as a tall, slender, single-stemmed shrub to about 2.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide. The branches host dark green, soft, needle like foliage. Best results with this shrub are achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of wind, cool climates, frost, and dry periods.
