Boronia 'Rose Blossom'

How to grow Boronia 'Rose Blossom' in NZ

Boronia 'Rose Blossom' grows best in a sheltered position with fertile well drained soil rich in organic matter. In New Zealand gardens it performs well in morning sun with protection from strong afternoon heat and drying winds. Choose a location with reliable drainage and moderate soil moisture. Water regularly during the establishment period so the roots develop well and support healthy plant growth.

Boronia 'Rose Blossom' care tips

Boronia 'Rose Blossom' prefers lightly moist soil but should never sit in waterlogged conditions. Apply a gentle slow release fertiliser in spring to encourage healthy foliage and strong flowering. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain a tidy shape and promotes dense branching. Mulching around the base helps retain soil moisture and improves soil structure.

Boronia 'Rose Blossom' size, spacing, and growth rate

Boronia 'Rose Blossom' typically grows to around one metre tall and about the same width. It has a moderate growth rate and forms a neat rounded shrub over time.
