Boronia pinnata, commonly known as the Pinnate Boronia, is a fantastic, evergreen shrub grown for its foliage and flowers. It features dark green, sweetly scented leaves which complement the masses of fragrant, light pink flowers in spring. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It will tolerate frost, cool climates, and periods of dry but will not do well on poorly drained soils. Boronia pinnata is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown around the barbecue, pool, and other living areas, included in borders, or maintained in a container.
