Boronia heterophylla, commonly known as the red Boronia, is an erect, dense shrub that features attractive foliage and flowers. It bears fine, dark green, aromatic foliage which is adorned with masses of fragrant, pink-red flowers in spring. This rounded shrub typically grows to 1 m tall and 75 cm wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this evergreen are achieved when it is planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is hardy to moderate frost, will grow well in cool climates, and tolerates short periods of dry.
