Boronia denticulata, commonly known as the Mauve Boronia, is an evergreen shrub grown for its lovely display of mauve-pink flowers through winter and spring. The lightly fragrant, bell-shaped flowers are held amidst the fine, light green, aromatic foliage. It typically grows to 1.5 m high and 1 m wide performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Boronia denticulata is commonly used in mixed plantings, planted around barbecue and other outdoor living areas, clipped into a hedge, or used as an attractive backdrop for smaller plants.
