Bambusa textilis ‘Gracilis’, commonly known as Fairy Bamboo, features fern-like foliage which is held densely on somewhat wispy stems. It grows as a clump to about 3 m tall and 2 m wide in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained. Fairy Bamboo is commonly planted for privacy screening, grown as a backdrop for smaller plants, used as an informal hedge, included in a courtyard garden, or maintained in a container.
