Azalea Tickled Pink is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces showy clusters of large and ruffled, soft pink blooms with cream-white rims through spring. It typically grows to 90 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill the plants. Azalea Tickled Pink is a great choice for container growing, including in cottage gardens, planting under trees and shrubs, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required.
