Azalea Sun Chariot

Sun Chariot is a variety of Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, deciduous shrub produces masses of large, butter yellow-coloured flowers with an orange-yellow highlight through spring. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are frost tolerant but require moisture in dry periods. Avoid lime fertiliser. Perfect for container growing, mixed plantings, cottage gardens, and brightening garden spots.
