Azalea Ria Hardijzer Details

Azalea Ria Hardijzer is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces clusters of showy, single, pink-purple flowers through spring. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Ria Hardijzer is a great choice for container growing, including in border or mixed plantings, planting around outdoor living areas, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
