Azalea Popcorn
Popcorn is an Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of white flowers which appear to explode across the foliage through spring. It typically grows to 90 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are frost tolerant but require moisture in dry periods. Avoid lime fertiliser. Great for container growing and mixed plantings. Cluster planting with other cultivars offers a stunning display.
