"Orange Delight" is a variety of Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of single, soft-orange flowers during spring. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill the plants. "Orange Delight" is a great choice for container growing, planting around larger trees and shrubs, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required.
