Azalea Nino is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of fragrant, bright red, double flowers through spring. The flowers are complemented with lush, green foliage. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site that does not dry out. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Nino is a great choice for container growing, planting under trees and shrubs, including in cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
