Azalea Nak Winter Green is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of single, orange flowers in winter. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Nak Winter Green is a great choice for adding to a mixed planting, using in borders, planting around the base of larger trees, including in white gardens and cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required. Cluster planting is very trendy and gives a colourful display.
