Azalea Little Girl is an outstanding and stunning variety of Azalea. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of large and showy, light pink flowers with a frilly edge from spring through summer. The flowers are complemented with glossy, dark green leaves which gives a lovely contrast. It typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide, preferring a full sun or partial shade position that is well-drained, slightly acidic, semi-sheltered, and does not dry out. It is tolerant of moderate frost and coastal environments but intolerant of lime which can cause serious damage to plants and even death. Azalea Little Girl makes a fantastic addition to a mixed or border planting, and is great for providing a splash of colour to a garden. It suits being planted around outdoor living areas, growing in a container, and also being mass planted. This is a very rewarding plant that is low maintenance and easy to grow.
