Azalea Kocho No Mai Details

Azalea Kocho No Mai is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of single, deep pink flowers in spring. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Kocho No Mai is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed planting, using in borders, planting around the base of larger trees, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
