“Gumpo White” is a variety of Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of scented, pure white blooms from winter until late spring. It typically grows to 60 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of moderate frost but should be protected while establishing. When fertilising avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. “Gumpo White” is a great choice for growing in a container, adding to a mixed planting, using in borders, planting around the base of larger trees, using in white and cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required. Cluster planting is very trendy and gives a very colourful display.
