Azalea Cocade is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of showy, pink flowers in spring. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising avoid using lime as this will stunt plants. Azalea Cocade is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed or border planting, planting around outdoor living areas, adding to cottage gardens, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required.
