Azalea Chiffon Details

Azalea Chiffon is a deciduous variety of Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy shrub produces masses of showy, white flowers during late winter, before the leaves emerge. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. Plants are tolerant of frost and cool climates but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Chiffon is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed and border planting, planting around outdoor living areas, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required. A mass planting produces an amazing display.
