Azalea Cherry Blossom is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of white flowers flushed with rose-pink in spring. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. It is tolerant of frost and cold environments but does require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Cherry Blossom is a great choice for adding to a mixed or border planting, planting around outdoor living areas such as pool and barbecue areas, including in cottage gardens, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required. Mass planting provides for an amazing display with this variety.
