Azalea Chaffinch Details

Azalea Chaffinch is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, deciduous shrub produces masses of large and showy, single, bright pink flowers through spring. It typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates but does require good soil moisture levels during dry periods and should be protected from heavy frost while establishing. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Azalea Chaffinch is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed and border planting, planting around outdoor living areas, or using anywhere a stunning plant is required. A mass planting produces an amazing display.
