Azalea Betty Ann Voss is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of large and showy, double, pink flowers through spring. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. It is tolerant of frost and cold environments but does require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants.
