Azalea Asawa Details

Azalea Asawa is a smaller variety that is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of single, white flowers with mauve edges from winter until late spring. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt plants and could cause plant death. Azalea Asawa is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed planting, including in cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
