Azalea Apricot Flush Details

Azalea mollis Apricot Flush is grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering from late winter through spring. This hardy, deciduous shrub produces masses of large, single, apricot-coloured flowers with a small, yellow flare. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 1.2 m wide, growing best when planted in a full sun or semi-shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. When grown in full sun it tends to be more compact. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt plants and could cause plant death. Azalea Apricot Flush is a great choice for container growing, adding to a mixed planting, including in cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required.
