“Albert Elizabeth” is an Azalea grown for its lovely form and profuse flowering from late winter through spring. This hardy, evergreen shrub produces masses of medium-sized, semi-double, white flowers with a coral coloured edge. It typically grows to 70 cm tall and the same wide, growing best when planted in a semi-shade or full sun position on a well-drained, sheltered site. Plants are tolerant of frost and cold environments but do require good soil moisture levels during dry periods. When fertilising avoid using lime as this will stunt plants. “Albert Elizabeth” is a great choice for container growing, planting under trees and shrubs, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required. Cluster planting one cultivar with another cultivar is very trendy and gives a tremendous display.
