Aucuba japonica Mr Goldstrike

Spotted Laurel

Aucuba japonica Mr Goldstrike is a variety of the commonly known Aucuba Japanese Laurel, and features lustrous, dark green foliage speckled and splashed with golden yellow. The foliage is complemented with purple flowers in spring which are borne in loose clusters and result in bright green berries that mature to bright red in winter as it grows to 2 m tall and the same wide. Aucuba Mr Goldstrike is commonly used to brighten a dull corner, trimmed into a hedge, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown for shelter and privacy.
