Artemisia Powis Castle, known as Common Wormwood, is an evergreen shrub grown for its colourful and attractive foliage. It carries finely divided, silvery leaves which have a feathery appearance. The foliage is complemented with small, yellow flowers in summer as it grows to about 75 cm tall and 1 m wide. Artemisia Powis Castle is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, planted around pool and barbecue areas, used in cottage and Mediterranean gardens, or planted to contrast with other plant colours and textures.
