“Powis Castle” is an evergreen shrub grown for its colourful and attractive foliage. It carries finely divided, silvery leaves which have a feathery appearance. The foliage is complemented with small, yellow flowers in summer. It grows with a low and rounded habit to about 75 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It tolerates moderate frost and short periods of dry once established. “Powis Castle” is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, planted around pool and barbecue areas, used in cottage and Mediterranean gardens, or planted to contrast with other plant colours and textures.
