Argyranthemum Yellow Hammer
“Yellow Hammer” is a bushy, evergreen shrub grown for its showy flowers and foliage. From spring through summer it produces an exquisite display of double, bright yellow, daisy-like flowers. The masses of bright flowers are complemented with fine, bright green leaves. It grows densely with a rounded shape to about 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of light frost, coastal environments, and short periods of dry. “Yellow Hammer” is commonly used to create splashes of colour in the garden and is ideal for planting around outdoor living areas, including in borders or mixed plantings, or being mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank.
