Abutilon Red, commonly known as Chinese Lantern, Red Flowering Maple, or Parlour Maple, features showy, intense red, lantern-shaped flowers from spring through autumn. This shrub grows compactly to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Abutilon Red is commonly included in mixed plantings, maintained in a container, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, planted around outdoor living areas, or included in cottage gardens.
