Korean Abelia

The Korean Abelia, Abelia coreana, is a slow growing, deciduous shrub. It features green foliage which is complemented with white flowers. It grows with a rounded shape up to 2.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide, and performs best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, dry periods, and some wind. The Korean Abelia is commonly added to a mixed planting, included in cottage gardens, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
