Rose Spiced Coffee Standard
“Spiced Coffee” is a popular Hybrid Tea rose that features very showy flowers that are pale beige with lavender-pink towards the edges. The fragrant blooms emerge in spring and continue until autumn, provided the spent flowers are removed. The foliage comprises small-sized, dark green leaves which provide a lovely backdrop to the flowers. This standard rose is grafted at 80 cm and results in a plant that typically grows to 1.3 m tall and 50 cm wide, though it is generally pruned each winter with about 75% of the stem removed. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost and cool climates. “Spiced Coffee” is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, included in a courtyard or cottage garden, maintained in a container, or included anywhere the beauty and fragrance can be appreciated.
